Solitude is the sequel album to 2022's Summerset and second in a four part seasonal series of albums, continuing on the same concept and theme. Solitude was written and recorded fully onto four-track cassette just as Summerset, and represents winter as Summerset did autumn. Solitude explores some similar post black metal sounds as Summerset did, but sits more firmly in the realm of classic depressive suicidal black metal, evoking feelings of loneliness, cold winter nights, and solitude as it lulls you into a trance-like state.
