Memories I

1.
Cold Winds 08:04
The Mother of Everything begins her slow descent, Falling from the limbs above, To grace the floor beneath. Fingers now trace the clouds, And slice right through the wind, Howling in the dead of night, Howling eternally. Fingers now trace the clouds, And slice right through the wind, Howling in the dead of night, Howling eternally. Crawling now into my bed, Hiding from the screams outside, I cry again, in helplessness, I cry again, in helplessness. Every second, I remember. Every second, I despise. Every second, I regret. Every second, I slowly die. The Mother of Everything, Now, become the banshee, Herald of our fates, Oracle of our deaths. Perennial it may seem, Not bound eternally, Soon this curse will break, Wake me when we're free.

Deathdream 06:58
I see everybody, everything, Trailing past, a blur in the night. I see the sunlight streaming in, Through the window, laid across my bed. I see everybody, everything, Fading away from memory. I see the clocks are turning faster than before, Seconds turn to months before my eyes. Dreaming is all I have keeping me alive. These strings are pulling me away, Unraveling my sanity. Dreaming is all I have keeping me alive. Dreaming is all I have, I'm losing myself. I see everybody, everything, Leaving me behind. I see the sunlight falling down, My walls and into the sky. I see everybody, everything, Fading into black. I see fabrics of reality, Bending to my will, Ruined by my will.

Interloper 08:24
Here into the vessel, mental fumes transcribed, Into odor on the tongue, Foul taste and bitter end. Poison to the soul and daggers in her veins, Eternally ablaze, proper in its own way. Poison to itself, he, unwanted vermin, Holy is the serpent, predatory to the end, Entwined in a circle, encircled within stars, Lost within a dreamscape dreaming of suicide. Enter my mind, Understand the pain, Slave to anxiety.
4.
Your fingers run through my hair like spiders, As we lay spread across the meadow. Grass tickles my skin as the sun turns to gold, Drenching the hills and trees in soft twilight. The wind blows through the trees above, As the crickets and frogs sing their songs. The clouds disperse at the horizon, Catching the light in a red inferno. Our bodies intertwine in the clearing, And as the stars begin to show themselves, We kiss and hold each other close, Until the moon rises to greet us. The chill of night creeps over, As the Earth falls into a deep, quiet sleep. Bats chirp and escape the trees, Disguised by our soft laughter. The moon graces you in blue twilight, And nothing has ever been this beautiful before. Nothing has ever been this beautiful before.

Sleep 04:54
I can see you laughing, Through dreams of perfect sleep. Sleep away from me, You know what's in my mind. When you go, I'm crying, Dream, dream away from me. Let the Lord embrace you, Bow down and spare the reed. When I close my eyes, Your fate shall be free. When I see you drowning, I'll dream, dream away from you.

about

Unlike previous albums, Memories I is a collection of various songs from different times rather than one cohesive piece. The songs range from years old to just days. They span from black metal with Cold Winds to blackgaze on Deathdream, to shoegaze with a cover of Slowdive's song Sleep.
