Written and recorded in June 2023, this new EP simply titled Night is a collection of songs written to evoke that "night feeling" - lonely summer nights, empty cityscapes, and puddles from the rain that day. Night expands upon the post black metal sound established in Deathdream and Anything Like This while blending it with the more somber and relaxed sound from Summerset, all while keeping broadly depressive yet accessible lyrics and themes - themes of love, loneliness, and feeling lost in life. Taking influence from bands such as Psychonaut 4 and Lifelover, Night explores more pop-like alt metal and alt rock sounds fused with depressive post black metal.
